Every character on the board holds a simple function: activate it, and a small number of spheres travel outward. When those spheres touch another character, that one activates too, releasing its own spheres. The result is a domino-like chain that can sweep across the board if the pieces are positioned well. The puzzle asks a single recurring question: which character should you trigger first to keep the cascade going as long as possible?
Because there is no timer, Bubble Burst Chain Reaction rewards observation over reflexes. Surveying the full layout before tapping anything is the most reliable way to spot dense clusters, since a character surrounded by neighbors has more chances to pass the chain along. Sparse edges rarely produce long sequences. The decision is less about speed and more about predicting how far a sphere will travel and what it will hit.
The visual design leans bright and friendly, with characters drawn in a cute style that keeps the tone light. Each activation pairs with a short, playful sound cue, so the cascade builds a rhythm as it moves. Nothing on screen competes for attention, which matters in a game where misreading the board costs you a move.
The game runs in a web browser with no installation, and it works across computers, tablets, and smartphones using either mouse or touch input. A full-screen option removes browser clutter. Early layouts teach the basic chain rule, while later arrangements grow more tangled and demand a sharper sense of sphere trajectories. That curve lets new players learn without pressure and gives returning players denser puzzles to solve.
