To play Wormania.io, use your mouse to move your worm around the arena. Click to boost, which makes you move faster but costs gems—boost stops if you run out of gems. Eat gems to grow longer and avoid running into other worms, as hitting them without the star powerup will end your game. Look for powerups scattered on the map; the star powerup makes you invincible for 10 seconds and allows you to cut other worms by colliding with them, dropping their gems. However, other worms with the same star powerup can still cut you. The blue triangle powerup gives you a speed boost that decays over 3 seconds, which can be combined with the regular boost for a super boost. The quickest way to grow is to eat gems from recently exploded worms or cut tails. Use speed to rush in front of worms, but ensure a clear area behind you to avoid collisions. When you're big, you can trap other players by surrounding them, forcing them to rely on a star powerup to escape.
